The Reflect Effect in Los Angeles
Register to join SCAG for The Reflect Effect. Climate Resolve, along with co-hosts Los Angeles Department of Water & Power, and Smart Surfaces Coalition, with support from the Urban Sustainability Directors Network and Climate Mayors. The event will be held on July 24-25, 2025 in Los Angeles, CA.
The Reflect Effect brings public works professionals from throughout the country together to learn from technical experts, business leaders, policymakers, and other practitioners about the latest technologies and innovations in cool surfaces – cool roofs, walls, and pavement–that cities are deploying to support resilience to heatwaves.
As part of a larger suite of interventions to combat urban heat, including nature-based strategies, the program will focus on implementing cool surfaces at the local level. The program includes expert presentations designed to inform practical applications, site visits of recent cool surface projects, live installation demonstrations of cool pavement products, and robust discussions on opportunities, challenges, and solutions surrounding cool roofs, walls, and pavement.
Further information regarding the agenda and associated events will be provided in the coming weeks. Additional details on The Reflect Effect can be found on the registration page.
RSVP at the registration link here. Space is limited and registration closes on July 18. Questions can be directed to Bridget Hauflaire at bhauflaire@climateresolve.org.
